SummaryPelican Bay is a large "pedestrian friendly" community that borders a large estuary along the beach. With the estuary, golf courses and landscaping, the area offers plenty of green space. Boardwalks wind through mangrove forests leading to the Gulf, where two private beachfront restaurants and beach clubs for residents are located. A tram also runs a route through the preserve to the beach. Pelican Bay has high rises, single family homes and low-rise condos. Neighborhood AreasPelican Bay offers a wide variety of neighborhoods from high rises to single family homes. High-rises border the preserve, and generally, the later the year built, the more luxurious.
